Welcome Back to School 2018!

Luau

As summer comes to an end, we are ready for another exciting year! The first day of school is Thursday, September 6. Last week, staff, students, and their families kicked off the new year with the first annual, Brimm Luau. Special thanks to our sponsors who helped make this event possible: NJEA, Miguel’s Pharmacy, Brimm’s Alumni and the PTSA.

Our staff was busy over the summer attending professional development and preparing to the new year. Our students worked, volunteered, attended practice, and  interned at various places in South Jersey and Philadelphia.

For a look at what we’ve been up to and what’s ahead for the 2018-2019 school year, check out our Back to School issue of Brimm News BacktoSchool2018!

The Promise of Spring

As we prepare for the end of the school year, our students have a promising future. In the latest issue of  BrimmNews!, nine students were inducted into the Nation Honor Society. During the induction ceremony, students were honored for their academics, leadership, service, and character. Our students were center of the community once again and during Senior Signing Day, the Class of 2018 announced where they will attend college this fall. We look forward to graduation on June 22!

Homecoming 2017 “Brimmy’s”

Hello students, families, staff and alumni! We’ve had a great year so far and can hardly 2017 is almost over. Right before Thanksgiving break, the Class of 2018 put on a spectacular homecoming show, The “Brimmy’s” and crowned their king and queen. Then, this week, the Red Cross Club hosted a blood drive. 28 students were able to donate blood which went on to help 84 patients. As Nurse Calderone said, “This season, you gave the best gift of all!” You can read about these events and more in our November/ December issue of BrimmNews! – The Lion’s Den here. From everyone at Brimm Medical Arts High School, happy holidays and many blessings for 2018!

Brimm in the Community

Hello students, families, staff and alumni! My name is Faye Johnson and I am one of the social studies teachers at Brimm Medical Arts High School. In addition, I am the BrimmNews! Club advisor. One of our goals is to share some of the wonderful things happening at Brimm throughout the year. We will be publishing a newsletter to keep you informed and highlight students, staff and events. I hope you enjoy our first issue. Thank you all for your ongoing support! To read an online version of the newsletter click here. Below is a picture of the Chowhounds event held at Brimm on October 28. Thanks to the students and Ms. Luke, students were able to provide free food and veterinary services to the beloved pets of Camden City residents.
